Discover, Learn, & Share

Cognitively Guided Instruction (CGI) is grounded in decades of research on how children develop their mathematical understandings and how teachers use that knowledge to shape instruction. The CGI conference brings together classroom teachers, administrators, researchers, and professional developers from across the country. Educators develop and extend their understanding of CGI, learn about the latest research advances, and share about the impact CGI has on mathematics learning in PreK-6 classrooms.

The conference will create a supportive environment to network with a community of fellow learners, and engage with speakers offering insights into various facets of children’s mathematical thinking. Join us for this national, biennial conference and gather with fellow educators who all wish to make a difference in the lives of their students.

2022 CGI Conference

We Look Forward to Seeing You In Orlando

The CGI Minnesota Planning Committee did an amazing job organizing and presenting our last conference in 2019. We are very excited to pick up where they left off, and our team is working hard to create another fun and informative event for 2022. This time we are preparing to hold the conference in Florida.

We are proud to be given this opportunity to organize this next meeting and gather with educators from across the country. Our goal has always been to develop highly effective math programs, and this conference serves as an integral part of that mission. We look forward to seeing you and sharing knowledge at this great event!
